I have applied for a lesson, what happens next?
  1. We put your name on a waiting list

  2. When a teacher has a space, they will contact you

  3. When the lesson time is agreed, we will invoice you

  4. With the invoice will be a request to set up a Direct Debit

  5. The money will taken in 10 monthly payments

  6. Once the DD is set up, lessons can start.

How do I know when the lessons will be? 

  • Your instrumental teacher will be in touch to inform you when the lessons will take place (day/time).

Are lessons every week?

  • We deliver 34 lessons throughout the academic year, we keep a few weeks clear for when teachers are involved in events and concerts.

Can I rent an instruments? 

  • Instrument can be hired at cost from Music for Bedford Borough here INSTRUMENT HIRE

How do I stop lessons?

  • Please inform your instrumental teacher and the office team if you wish to stop your lessons. We do require a 4 week cancellation period (refer to our Terms and Conditions for more details).

Data Protection

We are committed to the principles of data protection and information management. 

 

All personal information held on computer and manual files are confidential to Bedford Music Co-operative and will not be shared with unauthorised individuals or external companies.  However, to facilitate the provision of lessons on school premises, information may be shared with authorised individuals at your child’s school.  If financial assistance is required, information will be shared with the relevant agencies or organisations.

Under the Data Protection Act, you have the right to receive a copy of the personal data we have about you.  To receive a copy, please contact the Office Manager.
